Engineering Capabilities

The engineering department at CAR combines various skills and experience in an effort to provide our customers with efficient, cost-effective designs ranging from jigs and fixtures to multiple station progressive dies.  AutoCad 2002 software assists our staff in designing tooling quickly and efficiently, guaranteeing sound optimization of costly raw materials and minimal downtime.

Our infrastructure allows us to receive customer files via e-mail in order to expedite the design review and quotation process. All of today's most commonly used engineering files can be received via e-mail and through our RFQ form

We aim to combine customer expectations and product knowledge with our experience to design and manufacture the most cost-effective products possible.

CAR Engineering and Manufacturing uses GibbsCam, a design review software package that can generate cutting tool paths and CNC machining programs.

Our E-2 shop control system software package allows CAR to plan and track customer orders uniformly. E-2 is used in formulating initial quotations, managing cost-effective material procurement, monitoring shop floor efficiencies, production scheduling, customer account data, and finished goods inventory.
