Certified Woman Owned Machine Shop
CAR Engineering and Manufacturing is now a Certified woman owned metal stamper after WBENC granted the National Women’s Business Enterprise Certification to CAR Engineering on Dec 15, 2016.
Many prime contractors in defense, aerospace, automotive, electro-mechanical, consumer goods and more rely on CAR Engineering for their consistent quality and delivery.
It is wonderful that the service customers have come to expect from CAR for over 30 years can now be categorized as a spend with a certified WBENC.
This new certification makes CAR an even greater vendor asset to assist our customers in meeting their supplier diversity requirements.
CAR was pleased to be interviewed by the Rochester Business Journal regarding the transition from first generation to second generation. As most of you know, Charlie (founder of CAR Engineering and Manufacturing) sold the business to his daughter Yvette Pagano and Brian Rumsey at the end of last year (2015).

Now that the ownership change is official CAR Engineering had applied to become a certified woman owned small business. This was quite an extensive process. Yvette received notice that the file is complete and is now under review. On Dec 15, 2016 CAR Engineering & Manufacturing became a WBENC certified woman owned machine shop and stamper!
